Engagement in individual psychotherapy allows the client and therapist to build rapport which is important in the assessment and treatment of various concerns.

Sessions are provided in a nonjudgmental and neutral manner with emphasis on guiding and supporting clients through creating change and development of healthy coping strategies. As a doctoral-level mental health professional, the importance of providing culturally specific and empathic care is an important aspect of the treatment process. Through collaborative efforts the client and therapist navigate through traumatic experiences, life stressors, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
